TANZLANDSCHAFT BOLIVIA presents:

Dayna Martinez Morales was born in Bolivia, raised in Germany. She studied dance at ArtEZ institute of the Arts in Arnhem, The Netherlands. Since then Morales has studied dance around the globe. Alvin Ailey and Dancespace in New York and L’École des Sables with Germaine Acogny in Senegal are just to name a couple. Her faithfulness to her roots have been a red line throughout her life and career. Having studied various forms of dance, incorporating different styles and techniques, has transformed Morales to experience a world without borders as a dancer, choreographer and teacher.

Her works have been shown through out Europe, Bolivia, and in India. She was invited to create for the Official Ballet of Bolivia and Theatre group Badungduppa in India as well to conduct workshops for Espacio Danza, Compatrono, Vi Danza, Atempo Danza in Bolivia, Tanzommer Innsbruck, Tanzhaus NRW Düsseldorf and Artez, The Netherlands.

Dayna has been engaged in multicultural exchanges for several years. Since 2009 she works as Ambassador for The Theatre Embassy in The Netherlands. She teaches at the dance and theatre program of the ROCvA in Amsterdam and is one the artistic coordinators of Movementalist, which she manages together with her partner Vincent Verburg.
