"There is something about "immediate results" that I don't like, that I don't trust, that I don't enjoy so much.Creating for me has much more to do with experiencing something than with producing something. So rather than using the experience in order to construct a final object, I am interested in the experience of the creative process itself. |
For TANZLANDSCHAFT COLOMBIA Adriana presents: SHE HAS NOTHING TO SAY
"I was always interested in a body that communicates for itself, in the honesty or the lies you see through it. I worked with a body that has the will to move but doesn’t really know where to go, searching for something without knowing exactly what, observing what frustration, emptiness and not knowing could produce in the body. At the same time I was interested in a very clear, specific, and dramaturgical way of using the space contradictory to the principle and the beauty of not knowing:" |
