TANZLANDSCHAFT COLOMBIA presents:

Vladimir Rodríguez

is dancer and choreographer, founder and director of “Cortocinesis” Dance Company.

With Cortocinesis he was won in 2006 and 2008 the choreographic prize from the Secretaria de Cultura y Turismo Bogotá, Colombia, for the production of his two more significant works: “La Mesa” and “Papayanoquieroserpapaya”. With this last piece he won the Colombian National Dance Award 2010.

The artistic research of Cortocinesis includes an in depth research around the movement vocabulary "piso móvil".

As Dance Docent he has worked at ASAB Faculty of Arts in Bogotá, Colombia, la Escuela Profesional de Danza de Mazatlán (Mexico) y la Compañía Delfos Danza Contemporánea (Mexico).

As a dancer he has worked for  "Deja Donne" Dance Company (Director: Simone Sandroni y Lenka Fiori),

Dance Company Esther Aumatell (France, 2007), Faizal Zeghoudi Dance Company (France, 2005-2010), L´EXPLOSE (Colombia, 2002-2004, Director Tino Fernández),Psoas Coreolab(Colombia, 2000- 2002 Director: Charles Vodoz).
